1. Panasonic Leica DG Vario-Elmarit 8-18mm f/2.8-4 ASPH

This Leica Lumix lens is the best professional grade wide lens for the micro four thirds camera system, with an effective focal range of 16–36mm and a variable aperture of 2.8 to 4. If you want a travel vlogging lens, or a lens for gimbal work, this one is a dream. We rarely use gimbal or wide lenses for our recipe videos, but this lens was crucial for our Trincas' series where we had to get the follow shots of the server carry the hot food from the kitchen to the table. Auto focus is fast which makes it an ideal gimbal lens. It is also very, very sharp, which makes it perfect for landscape photography.

2. [SOLD] Olympus M Zuiko Digital ED 12–40mm f/2.8 Pro

This is possibly the best 24–70mm equivalent lens ever made for the micro-four third camera system, with a bonus 10mm extra reach at the long end. The aperture stays fixed at 2.8, making it a perfect carry around lens for all kinds of situations, day or night. Solid metal construction, fast auto focus, with a special mechanism that instantly converts it into a manual mode which is better for focus pulling.

3. [SOLD] Voigtlander Nokton 25mm f/0.95 w/ Hood

This and the next lens (the Voigtlander 42.5mm) are the fastest prime lenses for the micro four third system with an aperture of only 0.95. This manual lens has an effective fixed focal length of 50mm. Most of our recipe videos that are shot on the GH5 are shot using these two primes. If you have never used a Voigtlander lens, you will be blown away by the build quality. It is SOLID, heavy, and the focus ring is a joy to use. This is manual-focus only! If you are tired of clinically sharp lenses and crave for the 'cinematic' look of vintage lenses, this is for you.
Being a manual lens, this lens also has an aperture ring that allows you to change aperture directly on the lens. Best of all, the aperture ring can be pulled back to turn it into a de-clicked mode! This removes the hard stops. Smoothly adjust aperture to compensate for changing lighting condition—a feature that many high end cine lenses have.

4. [SOLD] Voigtlander Nokton 42.5mm f/0.95

This is the fastest prime lens for the micro four third system with an aperture of only 0.95 and an effective fixed focal length of 85mm. Most of our recipe videos that are shot on the GH5 are shot using this prime. If you have never used a Voigtlander lens, you will be blown away by the build quality. It is SOLID, heavy, and the focus ring is a joy to use. This is manual-focus only! If you are tired of clinically sharp lenses and crave for the 'cinematic' look of vintage lenses, this is for you.
This lens also has a very close focusing distance allowing it to function almost like a macro lens. Perfect for photographing fine details and textures, such as those of food, watches, jewellery, etc.
